A Little About Me
Ah-dee-thee. It's phoenetic!
Hey! I'm Adithi. I was born and raised in the south suburbs of Chicago. I went to college in Washington, D.C. and law school in Indiana.
I'm a professional writer and actor, a first-generation American and passionate about public education, public radio and progressive politics.
I'd love to chat with you about your next project!
A little more about me:
- I've trained in comedy writing and improv comedy at The Second City and iO Theater, respectively.
- My solo show, Open Season, was the inaugural play selected for lab and production support as part of The Gift Theatre's 4802 Residency Program.
- I owned and operated my own vegetarian catering business.
- I worked on back-to-back Democratic political campaigns (where I learned a lot about the art of persuasion.)
- I've lived in Chicago, Washington, D.C., London, New Delhi and Bombay, India, and Indianapolis.
- I have a background in grant writing, which helped me develop an ability to highlight anecdotal and data-backed program outcomes and tailor messaging to funders' priorities.
