The Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) is a youth-focused organization that trains teachers to deliver a top-notch business course to high school students (primarily in low-income communities.) NFTE students spend a school year drafting business plans for a start-up that addresses a need in their often underserved communities. Through the business plan creation process, students put their math, writing and critical thinking skills to use and often launch and run businesses. Much of NFTE's content is focused on targeting new funders and mentors from the business community that would work with students.
